Building the LA Entrepreneurs’ Community
Have you noticed that Silicon Valley and the Bay Area get all the attention when it comes to entrepreneurship and technology? Well, things are about to change, and you can be a part of it.

StartupLA is a new conference committed to building the startup community in Los Angeles. Different than other conferences for entrepreneurs, students, and investors, StartupLA is one that is structured yet free flowing, blending scheduled speakers and presentations with open topics that guests can sign-up for the day of the event.
Attend panel topics ranging from pitching to VCs and raising money, to legal startup advice, to marketing. You can enter the business plan competition or just come to network.
The event will be on Friday, October 26th from 1pm-6:30pm and Saturday, October 27th from 9am- 6.30pm at UCLA Anderson School of Management. (See schedule for more details.) Join us in forming a stronger network that will bring the Los Angeles startup community to the next level!

This is a very cool event. I will definitely be attending. It looks complimentary to one of my current projects called Silicon valley South. See http://siliconvs.blogspot.com for more information. I put a link to your site on the blog, and on my main blog at http://jackshck.livejournal.com

This was a great event and I’m very grateful for all the hard work and effort that went into it!
The speakers were great, the way it was run was very smooth and it was a very unique, cool experience. Thanks again! I had a great time and can’t wait to spend my $1,000 prize money!
Where should I send my blurb and pic again? I was so out of my head when I heard I’d won I forget!
